The Longer Road: A Story of Family, Shame, and Recovery is the story of Kojo, a young boy growing up in a family slowly being changed by his father’s struggle with alcohol.

When his father loses his job and begins drinking, Kojo starts to carry the weight of problems he does not fully understand.
